Aurilo Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern your use of the Aurilo mobile app and related services ("Aurilo", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Aurilo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use Aurilo. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. What Aurilo does

Aurilo is a personal finance assistant. You can forward bank and card statement emails to a personal Aurilo address, upload documents, and chat (by text or voice) to review and understand your spending. Aurilo does not connect to your bank, and never asks for your banking credentials.

Aurilo is an informational tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and nothing it produces should be relied on as such.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@aurilo.app if you believe your account has been compromised. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account, or via our public deletion page.

4. Your content and statements

You retain ownership of the statements, documents, and messages you provide ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to process Your Content solely to operate the service — for example, to extract transactions from a statement and to answer your questions.

You confirm you have the right to share Your Content with us and that doing so does not breach any agreement you have with your bank or a third party.

5. AI-generated output

Some features send Your Content to third-party AI providers to generate responses, categorise transactions, or transcribe voice. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Always verify important figures against your original statements before acting on them.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Aurilo: no uploading content you have no right to, no attempting to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, no using it for unlawful purposes, and no forwarding statements that belong to someone else without their permission.

7. Premium

Aurilo may offer optional paid features. Where a paid subscription is offered, its price and billing terms will be shown before you purchase. At launch, premium interest may be collected via a waitlist with no charge.

8. Third-party services

Aurilo relies on third-party providers for hosting, email delivery, AI, and sign-in. Your use of the app is also subject to those providers' handling of data as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Aurilo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on the app's output. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using Aurilo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the service and its users.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notified in-app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Aurilo is operated. (Governing-law jurisdiction and operating entity to be confirmed before launch.)
